I was inspired really by a new friend from Booktube Tamara Woods to showcase my poetry again. I had a poetry site years ago at Geocities. They decided they did not want to host free sites anymore and therefore my site was gone. A lot of work went into the design of that website since I wrote most of the HTML Myself and because of that, I did not have the heart to start all over again.
One day my husband was reformatting my hard drive because my computer was having several issues. So I told him everything that I wanted save, including my poetry. And some how my poetry was all lost. I was disheartened over it and was utterly beside myself. One day my daughter was online looking stuff up and asked me, "Hey Mom wasn't your poetry site called Messages of the Heart?" I told her yes and asked why. Lo and behold she found a webring that had save my poetry site within it and therefore all of my poetry was found. I was truly blessed. We were able to save all of my poetry once again.
So now since I have ben inspired to once again showcase my work I decided to add a new blog which you see here that will showcase my poetry. I am not entirely sure yet as to how I will do this. I am thinking I might have separate pages for them but there are a lot of poems to share. I am sure I will figure it out in due time. So many thanks to Tamara for opening my eyes by inspiring me to share my poetry with the world again.
